The 49ers won their coin flip with the Raiders for the No. 9 pick in the NFL draft’s first round, cementing where their nine picks will come in April, barring trades, of course.
San Francisco made a series of trades to end up with their nine picks. They had 10 before moving their second-rounder to New England for Jimmy Garoppolo. But they still have a pick in the round after trading a third-round selection to the Saints during last year’s draft.
The 49ers have a third-round pick from Chicago for moving back one spot before taking Solomon Thomas. Their fourth round pick is from Pittsburgh from the Vance McDonald trade. They received a fifth-rounder from the Jets in the Rashard Robinson deal.
